Single Singapore Citizen scheme – HDB for rent in Singapore
HDB for rent in Singapore – The Single Singapore Citizen scheme allows Single citizens who are at least 35 years old to buy an HDB flat from the open market. There is no restriction on the flat type or location. The criteria are as follows:
- Must be SC
- Applicant’s age: Single/divorced – at least 35 yrs old (based on date of birth)
- Widow /Orphan (only child) – at least 21yrs old
- An orphan buying a resale flat for his/her own, he/she must not have another sibling whose age is below 35 and is buying a flat separately under the Orphans Scheme, Single Singapore Citizen Scheme or Joint Singles Scheme
