Conversion scheme – Singapore HDB flat for rent
The Conversion scheme allows buyer to buy 2 units of 3-room or smaller flat or an adjoining 3-room or smaller flat from the open market. The leases of both flats must be surrendered to HDB, so that one fresh single lease can be issued for the converted flat. The criteria are as follows: Singapore HDB flat for rent.
- Can be 2SC or SC & SPR or 2 SPRs
- Applicant’s age: At least 21 yrs old
- Must apply to HDB for approval first before submitting application.
- The combined flat cannot be sub-divided again for resale, transfer or surrender.
