Trade fixtures normally refer to fixtures that are installed and belong to a tenant that has rented the premises to do a business e.g. his signboard, his decorative light fixtures, his display counters, etc. Trade fixtures belong to the tenant and he is therefore allowed to remove them upon expiry of the lease. However, if there should be any damage due the removing of his fixtures, he has to make good the damage.
