CEA fined salesperson for advertising property without consent of owner – Property for sale in Singapore

On 18 July 2012, CEA’s Disciplinary Committee concluded its fourth disciplinary proceedings case against salesperson, Edward Ting Seng Keng, 30, from ERA Realty Network Pte Ltd. He had advertised a property online without obtaining the consent of the owner. Property for sale in Singapore.

Ting was charged for failing to comply with the Practice Guidelines on Ethical Advertising, and breaching the Code of Ethics and Professional Client Care. Ting admitted to the charge and was ordered to pay a financial penalty of $3,000 and costs of $1,000.
