  • To physically fetch the tenant or buyer in the salesperson’s car for viewing or for HDB Appointments; this is not a must, it is up to the salesperson to decide whether he wants to provide such extra services.
  • To chase the landlord to refund any security deposit paid by the tenant; this is not the salesperson’s job. If the landlord refuses to return any deposit paid, the tenant can go to the Small Claim Tribunal to make a claim for refund.
  • To chase the landlord or seller that has cheated the tenant or buyer of any payment/deposit. Even though he is the salesperson, he cannot be held accountable for the cheating actions of the landlord or seller. The salesperson can only assist them to make a police report or to engage a lawyer to make a claim.
