Singapore HDB flat for rent – The Non-Citizen Spouse scheme allows a citizen with a non-citizen spouse to buy an HDB flat from the open market. The criteria are as follows:
- Applicant must be a married SC whose spouse is non-citizen
- If applicant is at least 35 yrs old, spouse can have less than 6 months social visit pass (including work permit) at time of application.
- If applicant is at least 21 yrs old, spouse must have at least 6 months social visit pass (including work permit) at time of application.
- If the social visit pass expires during the resale transaction, they have to produce the renewed social visit pass at the point of completion of the resale transaction.
