SPR Households to Wait Three Years – HDB resale flats for sale
Previously, Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) households, i.e. SPR households with no Singapore citizen (SC) owner, may buy resale HDB flats as soon as they acquire SPR status. HDB resale flats for sale.
HDB had reviewed this policy and has decided that SPR households should wait three years from the date of obtaining SPR status, before they can buy a resale HDB flat.
Each and every SPR applicant fulfill the min wait of 3 years.
If at least one of the household applicants is a SC, this rule will not apply.
This measure shall apply to resale applications received on or after 27 Aug 2013, 5:30pm.
