Orphans scheme – HDB resale flat for rent
The Orphan scheme allows 2 or more orphans, who are unmarried siblings, to buy an HDB flat from the open market. The criteria are as follows: HDB resale flat for rent.
- Must be a SC with at least one other unmarried sibling, who is aSingaporeCitizen or a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) as a co-applicant or occupier in the application.
- Applicant’s age: At least 21 yrs old
- Special Condition: The unmarried siblings are not allowed to buy or rent separate flats under the Orphans scheme
