HDB for rent in Singapore – If all the sellers areSingaporecitizens (SC) or a mixture of SC andSingaporepermanent residents (SPR), Official Assignee’s (OA) consent to sell is not required in the event of any bankruptcy. If all the owners are SPRs and should any one be bankrupt, a letter of consent from the OA must be obtained.
If any bankrupt buyer is buying a 5-room flat or smaller, letter of consent from the OA is not required. If any bankrupt is buying a flat that is bigger than a 5-room flat, such as an executive apartment, OA’s consent is required.
